Visiting the website

When you load a page, our server processes technically necessary connection data (IP address, time, requested address, browser identification). This is required to deliver the site and to fend off attacks; the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. These logs are deleted shortly after.

Audience measurement

We count page views ourselves, on our own server, without third-party services. We store the page, the language, the referring domain, campaign parameters from the address bar, the rough device type and the time.

Without your consent this happens without a cookie: we derive a non-reversible value from IP address, browser identification and a secret that changes daily. It changes every night, so recognising anyone beyond a single day is impossible. We do not store the IP address itself. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

If you consent, we set our own cookie („molu_vid“, valid one year) holding a random identifier. That lets us recognise returning visits and real sessions. Legal basis: § 25(1) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your choice at any time via „Change cookie choice“ in the footer; the cookie is then deleted.

Storage in your browser

Independently of that, two things sit in your browser's local storage, both triggered by you: your cart and a note of how you decided on the banner. Both are necessary for the site to work, never leave your browser and can be deleted there at any time.

Contact form

If you write to us, we store your name, email address, subject and message in order to answer. The enquiry is also emailed to our inbox; our team chat only gets a notice without the message text. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

Orders and customer data

For an order we process name, delivery and billing address, email, phone number where given, and the order details. You enter these during checkout at Stripe; we take them from there so you don't type them twice, and group your orders under your email address. There is no customer account with a login. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; commercial and tax retention periods remain unaffected.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin, Ireland. You enter payment details there directly; we never see or store card data.

Batches

For every order we record which production batch the goods came from. That is food law and our own interest: it is the only way to inform you specifically in the event of a recall.

Recipients

Apart from Stripe and the shipping provider we pass on no data. No ad network, no third-party analytics, no selling of data.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). An informal message is enough. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority; ours is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

This is a translation for convenience. In case of doubt the German version prevails.
