What's inside

Two recipes. Plainly declared.

The base is the same for both: isomalt and xylitol instead of sugar, plus vitamin C, B vitamins, zinc and electrolytes. Variant B adds caffeine and L-theanine from green tea extract.

The ingredients, briefly

Isomalt and xylitol: Sugar alcohols that form the base mass instead of sugar. Isomalt is the carrier because it does not caramelise when cooked; xylitol adds a light cooling effect.
Green tea extract and L-theanine: L-theanine is an amino acid that occurs naturally in tea leaves. It gets into the lolly via a green tea extract rather than as an isolated substance – and only in variant B, as a partner to the caffeine.
Caffeine: Occurs naturally in coffee, tea, cocoa and guaraná. Only in variant B, around 60 mg per lolly – roughly an espresso. Variant A is deliberately without.
Vitamin C, B vitamins and zinc: Nutrients both variants are fortified with: vitamin C, zinc, plus niacin (B3), pantothenic acid (B5), B6 and B12.
Electrolytes: Magnesium, potassium and sodium – in both variants.
